It has been said that as a society, we are the most connected, yet most lonely people ever to have lived. Even being together on a Sunday morning may leave us feeling dis-connected. For that reason we have regular “Life Groups” – Doing Life Together. These are an opportunity to come and just be, feel supported, ask questions and know you are listened to. Without being intrusive, we often pray for each other about the things that are happening in our daily lives. We talk about what was said on the Sunday and consider what that may mean for us during the rest of the week.
In many ways, we think they are at least if not more important than the Sunday meeting.
We meet mainly during the school term and as well as our normal times, also do social things together and 3 times a year are given a budget to “Bless Thy Neighbour” – finding creative ways to show God’s love for our respective communities…
