Our toddler group meets weekly during school terms on Thursday mornings, 10 a.m. – 12 noon. Parents, grandparents and childminders are always welcome to bring babies and pre-school children.
We offer a large range of toys and activities for babies and toddlers with a mid-morning break for snacks and birthday celebrations. We have a reputation for our milky coffee to rival any coffee shop!
Singing and a short story – usually from the Bible – are followed by a simple craft activity which the children can then take home.
In summer when the weather is suitable we move out into the shaded garden where we have ride-on toys, sand and water and other outdoor activities.
Parties happen in the summer when we hire a bouncy castle, and at Christmas when a certain man in a red suit is known to put in an appearance.
The Stroat toddlers’ group has been operating for many years, and has been popular with families from Bulwark (Chepstow) through to Lydney and beyond. We are often told that the ethos and atmosphere make for a peaceful, supportive and happy time for both children and adults, and our prayer is that their eyes might be opened to who Jesus is, and all that He can be in their lives.
